GREAT SUCCESS DANCE WORKS ROTTERDAM IN HUNGARY 

September 2008

Invited by the Pécs International Dance Festival 2008 Dance Works Rotterdam presented the production Rotterdam/New York on 24 September. A nice beginning of a long-term collaboration between both companies.

The organizer of the festival, director Balázs Vincze, was very pleased with our performance. Some days after the festival, he sent us the following message:
¨We would like to thank you for your visit to Pécs and your contribution to the success of our festival. Dance Works Rotterdam was one of the biggest attractions during this festival edition.
As well as the journalists as the audience longed for your performance and they were enthusiastic afterwards. As the big applause showed, Rotterdam/New York was a great success.
Something happened that rarely happens here: as soon as the first part was over, a long and ritmic applause called for more! Everybody was very impressed with the fantastic result, the professionality of the dancers and the beauty and high quality of the choreographies.
Congratulations and thank you for the beautiful performances.¨
